NHK has announced that the upcoming To Your Eternity anime has been delayed from October 2020 to April 2021. Crunchyroll also revealed that the series would be coming to the service during Virtual Crunchyroll Expo 2020. Crunchyroll’s report about the delay for the To Your Eternity did not state a reason for it.
Anime News Network later reported that To Your Eternity has been delayed due to the anime’s production schedule being heavily affected by COVID-19.
The official synopsis of the series from Crunchyroll reads:
A lonely boy wandering the Arctic regions of North America meets a wolf, and the two become fast friends, depending on each other to survive the harsh environment. But the boy has a history, and the wolf is more than meets the eye as well.
Brain’s Base will handle the production of the anime with Mashiko Murata directing, Shinzo Fujita handling the series composition, and Koji Yabuno in charge of the character design.
