Ouch! They’re giving up some really good titles amongst that lot. . .

    • Lesley Aeschliman · July 31, 2020

When I saw the post on Crunchyroll yesterday, the company had commented that the streaming licenses for those shows have expired, and Sentai chose not to extend the streaming license to Crunchyroll.

There’re a lot of popular titles there. Does Sentai Holdings still own HIDIVE? Maybe they’re going to push for more visibility there?

    • Lesley Aeschliman · July 31, 2020

I believe most of the shows listed are already on HIDIVE, but that some of them are not. There’s definitely a connection between Sentai and HIDIVE, so it wouldn’t surprise me if they decided that when the streaming license for Crunchyroll ended with those titles, that they would try to highlight them on HIDIVE (since many of them already appear to be there anyway).
