Podcast production company Pocket Universe Productions has announced that voice actor William Dufris (Bill Dufries) passed away due to cancer. He was 62 years old at the time of his passing.

In anime, Dufris’ credits include Lupin III in the Manga UK dubs of Lupin the 3rd: Bye Bye, Lady Liberty and Lupin the 3rd: The Mystery of Mamo. He also voiced Subaru Kimeragi in the English dub of the X anime film, as well as roles for English dubs of Angel Cop, Patlabor, Appleseed, New Dominion Tank Police, and Venus Wars.

Dufris is best known for voicing Bob the Builder in the North American dub of the first nine seasons of the Bob the Builder animated series. He was also a co-founder of Pocket Universe Productions.
