One Piece to Return to Adult Swim’s Toonami Block in Summer 2019

FUNimation is proud to announce that Season 15 of One Piece has been licensed for broadcast and is set to premiere on Adult Swim’s Toonami block in Summer 2019. Look forward for more information regarding the premiere at a later date.

Series Synopsis:

Monkey D. Luffy refuses to let anyone or anything stand in the way of his quest to become the king of all pirates. With a course charted for the treacherous waters of the Grand Line and beyond, this is one captain who’ll never give up until he’s claimed the greatest treasure on Earth: the Legendary One Piece. Fiendish Fishmen, merciless Marines, surly sea monsters, and devious Devil’s Fruit users all try to stop this unusual man with the body made of rubber, but as long as Luffy has his loyal friends along for the adventure – nothing can stand in the way of their dreams.

Produced by Toei Animation, the series is based on the manga by Eiichiro Oda and follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and his crew of Straw Hat Pirates. The series is currently into its 887th episode and is streaming on FunimationNow, with new simulcast episodes every Saturday at 8 p.m. CST/ 9 p.m. EST.
