FUNimation Entertainment has announced that it received an update from its licensor of Attack on Titan, and will stream subtitled episodes of the second part of the Attack on Titan Season 3 anime on Sundays at 9:45 p.m. EDT starting on May 26, 2019.
The company had previously stated that it would delay the episodes worldwide from Sundays at 1:35 p.m. EDT to Wednesdays at 9:00 a.m. EDT. FUNimation explained that sublicensees leaked new episodes for two weeks in a row in two territories before the premieres in Japan. The licensor then decided to give show materials to FUNimation after the premieres of upcoming episodes in order to prevent further leaks.
The show’s simuldub will still premiere on May 26, 2019 as planned. The series will also debut on Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block on May 25, 2019.
