The United Kingdom’s Manga Entertainment has confirmed that its release of Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Part 1 has been de-listed on retailer websites. The company stated that it was instructed to remove the product and its promotional materials from its website and social media accounts.
The company apologized for the “frustration and concern” related to the de-listing and said that it is working with FUNimation to resolve the issue. Manga Entertainment said that it hopes to make the title available as soon as possible.
Australia’s Madman Entertainment also announced that its release of the anime has been indefinitely delayed. The set was originally scheduled for March 6, 2019. The company apologized and said, “We hope to be able to offer this product again in the near future.”
Madman did not provide a reason for the delay, and only said it was due to factors outside of the company’s control. The company did say that it is unrelated to its recent acquisition by Aniplex.
FUNimation released the anime in North America on February 5, 2019.
