FUNimation Films has announced the dates for its United States screenings of the first two episodes of the new anime of Natsuki Takaya’s Fruits Basket manga. The English dub will screen on March 26, 2019, and the subtitled version will screen on March 27, 2019. Pre-sale tickets are available now.
Screenings will offer a 16-oz stadium cup, lanyard, and three pin badges as commemorative gifts. The screenings will also be accompanied by interviews with both the English and Japanese voice casts.
Two more cast members have been announced for the English dub:
- Elizabeth Maxwell is Arisa Uotani
- Jad Saxton is Saki Hanajima
Elizabeth Maxwell replaces Parisa Fakhri, and Jad Saxton replaces Daphne Gere.
The new Fruits Basket anime is scheduled to premiere in Japan in April 2019. FUNimation will stream the series on FunimationNow, and the company has acquired the license for the home video release.
