VIZ Media to Release the Sailor Moon Stars Anime on Home Video Starting in Spring 2019

VIZ Media announced at a Sailor Moon panel at Anime NYC that it will release the first half of the Sailor Moon Stars anime on home video in Spring 2019. Pre-orders will be available soon.

VIZ’s release will mark the first time Sailor Moon Stars, which is the fifth and final season of the original Sailor Moon television anime series, is getting a home video release in North America.

Similar to the company’s previous Sailor Moon sets, the release will have a limited edition Blu-ray Disc/DVD combo pack, a standard Blu-ray Disc/DVD combo pack, and a standard DVD release. The limited edition set will include a full-color episode guide inside a collector’s chipboard box.
