FUNimation Entertainment and TOHO have announced that they will host the world premiere of the My Hero Academia: Two Heroes (My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: Futari no Hero) film at the Anime Expo event. FUNimation Films has also licensed the film from TOHO, with plans to release the film in the United States and Canada in Fall 2018.
The film will screen with English subtitles at Anime Expo on July 5, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. Admission is free to all badge holders and will be on a first-come first-served basis. Voice actors Katsuhisa Namase (voice of David Shield), Mirai Shida (voice of Melissa Shield), Daiki Yamashita (voice of Deku), Justin Briner (voice of Deku), and Colleen Clinkenbeard (voice of Yaoyorozu and ADR director for the film) will host a talk after the film’s screening.
My Hero Academia: Two Heroes will open in Japanese theaters on August 3, 2018.
