The May 2018 issue of Shueisha’s Bessatsu Margaret magazine has announced that Karuho Shiina’s Kimi ni Todoke manga will get a second spin-off chapter in Fall 2018. The May 2018 issue also published the first spin-off chapter, which tells the story of Kazehaya and Sawako’s long-distance relationship while Kazehaya is at college.

The manga tells the story of Sawako Kuronuma, nicknamed Sadako (from The Ring) because of her long black hair and pale skin makes her appear gloomy. The popular Shōta Kazahaya builds a friendship with Sawako that blossoms into romance.

Shiina began Kimi ni Todoke in Bessatsu Margaret in 2006, and ended it on November 13, 2017. VIZ Media is publishing the manga in English.
