Caterpillar Manga Ends Five Years After the Original Artist’s Passing

This year’s seventh issue of Square Enix’s Young Gangan magazine has announced that writer Shinya Murata and artist Tokisada Hayami’s Caterpillar manga will end in the magazine’s ninth issue on April 20, 2018. The manga ends five years after Isuka Hakozaki, the manga’s original artist, passed away, and Hayami took over the art for the manga.

Murata and Hakozaki launched the manga in Young Gangan in 2012. Square Enix published three compiled book volumes for the manga before Hakozaki passed away. Square Enix published the manga’s 10th compiled book volume on January 25, 2018.
