Detective Conan Is the First Shonen Sunday Manga to Publish Its 1,000th Chapter

This year’s combined 37th and 38th issue of Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine has published the 1,000th chapter of Gosho Aoyama’s Detective Conan (Case Closed) manga. The manga is the first series in the magazine to reach its 1,000th chapter.

Detective Conan has been running since 1994 and has spawned an ongoing anime series, and a yearly anime film series.
