Anime Expo 2017 has announced that anime director Tensai Okamura will be a guest at its upcoming convention.

Okamura worked as an animator and episode director at Madhouse before debuting as a director with the “Stink Bomb” short as part of the 1995 Memories anthology film. Okamura has since directed such series as Darker than Black, Wolf’s Rain, The Seven Deadly Sins, Blue Exorcist, World Conquest Zvezda Plot, and Kuromukuro. He has also directed the Naruto the Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow anime film.

Anime Expo will be taking place July 1-4, 2017 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. In addition, the convention will formally include a preview night a day before on June 30, 2017.
