This year’s 28th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine won’t publish a new chapter of Kōhei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia manga on June 12, 2017 as planned. The editorial staff is releasing a notice in the issue stating that the manga won’t be in the issue due to Horikoshi’s sudden illness. The editorial staff noted that the manga will return in the 29th issue, which will ship on June 19, 2017. Horikoshi previously took a one week break in the magazine’s 15th issue in March 2017 due to illness.
Horikoshi launched My Hero Academia in Weekly Shonen Jump in July 2014. VIZ Media is publishing the manga in English digitally in its Weekly Shonen Jump magazine and in print.
