In/Spectre Manga Ends, But Sequel Announced for June 2017

This year’s third issue of Kodansha’s Shōnen Magazine R has published the final chapter of Kyo Shirodaira and Chasiba Katase’s In/Spectre (Kyokō Suiri or Invented Interface) manga. A sequel series to the manga will begin in the magazine’s next issue on June 20, 2017. The first chapter of the sequel will be a short story depicting a regular day in the life of Kotoko and Kuro. The manga’s sixth compiled volume will ship on June 16, 2017.

Katase launched the manga based on a novel by Shirodaira in Kodansha’s Shōnen Magazine R in April 2015. The manga is Katase’s first serialized work. Kodansha published the manga’s fifth volume in Japan in December 2016, and Kodansha Comics published the third volume in North America on March 7, 2017. Kodansha Comics will release the fourth volume on May 9, 2017.
