Anirevo 2016 Announces Guests

Anirevo 2016 has announced that Japanese voice actors Romi Park, Ayumi Fujimura, and Toshihiko Seki will be guests at their next convention. In addition, it was announced that sound designer Takeshi Takadera is returning to the convention for his second year, and will participate in a voice recording session with the voice actors.

Park’s credits include Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist, Temari in Naruto, and Ken in Digimon Adventure 02. More recently, she has voiced Hanji in Attack on Titan, Ragyo Kiryuin in Kill la Kill, and Seimei in Garo: Crimson Moon. She won the best leading actress award for her performance of Nana Osaki in NANA at the first ever Seiyuu awards in 2007. This will be Park’s first guest appearance in Canada.

Fujimura has voiced over 150 anime roles since 2004, including Misaki Ayuzawa in Maid-Sama!, Ayano Kannagi in Kaze no Stigma, Azaka Kokutō in The Garden of Sinners, Chiharu Harukaze in Hayate the Combat Butler, Cecily Cambell in The Sacred Blacksmith, Niche in Tegami Bachi: Letter Bee, Seiri Fukiyose in A Certain Magical Index, and Mineva Lao Zabi in Mobile Suit Gundam UC. The convention will be Fujimura’s first visit to Canada.

Seki debuted in 1983’s The Mysterious Cities of Gold while he was still in college. He has since voiced over 200 roles, including Duo Maxwell in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, Mousse in Ranma 1/2, Rau Le Creuset in Mobile Suit Gundam Seed, Genjo Sanzo in Saiyuki, Fred Luo in Outlaw Star, and Senketsu in Kill la Kill.

Anirevo will be taking place August 5-7, 2016 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
