Fujiko Fujio A Puts Parman no Jōnetsu-teki na Hibi Manga on Hiatus

The December 2015 issue of Shueisha’s Jump Square magazine is announcing that Doraemon co-creator Fujiko Fujio A (Motoo Abiko) is putting his Parman no Jōnetsu-teki na Hibi (Parman’s Intense Daily Life) essay manga on an indefinite hiatus. Fujiko Fujio A added in a handwritten statement in the announcement that he was going on hiatus since it had already been eight years since he launched the manga, and that he was getting exhausted. He added that he will return to the manga when he feels better.

The manga is a comic essay about the author’s own life, named Mr. Parman in the manga.

Fujiko Fujio A launched the manga in Jump Square in 2007. Shueisha published the manga’s fourth compiled book volume on March 5, 2015.
