Akiko Higashimura Resumes the Princess Jellyfish Manga

Manga creator Akiko Higashimura resumed serialization on her Princess Jellyfish manga on July 25, 2015 in the September 2015 issue of Kodansha’s Kiss magazine. Higashimura last published a chapter of the main series in the magazine in the December 2014 issue. Higashimura had drawn two prequel chapters in the magazine’s January and February 2015 issues, which shipped in November and December 2014, respectively. Higashimura also drew a special chapter of the manga in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine in December 2014.

The story is described as:

Tsukimi, who has loved jellyfish from a young age, resides in Amamizukan, a fangirl-only dorm. One evening at the local pet store, Tsukimi sees a lovely jellyfish in danger, but a beautiful woman comes to the rescue. They go back to Amamizukan together, but this “woman”… is actually a man.

Kodansha Comics will debut the manga series in North America in February 2016.
