Code Black: Soku Hiki no Lelouch Spin-off Manga Takes One-Month Break

The Twitter account for Kodansha’s Young Magazine the 3rd magazine announced on July 5, 2015 that Tomajirō Hoshi’s Code Black: Soku Hiki no Lelouch spin-off manga did not appear in the August 2015 issue of magazine on July 6, 2015. The Twitter account explained that Hoshi is suffering from water poisoning due to drinking unboiled water. The editorial department apologized for the hiatus, and cautioned readers to be careful of the water they drink.

Hoshi’s Code Black: Soku Hiki no Lelouch (Code Black: Fast-Plucking Lelouch) manga draws inspiration from Sunrise’s Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion anime. Hoshi launched the manga in Young Magazine the Third in November 2014. Kodansha published the first compiled book volume of the manga on June 5, 2015.
