VIZ Media Announces the English Cast for the Sailor Moon S Anime

VIZ Media announced new English cast members for the Sailor Moon S anime series at its Sailor Moon panel at Anime Expo. The new cast members are:

  • Erica Mendez is Haruka Tenoh / Sailor Uranus
  • Lauren Landa is Michiru Kaioh / Sailor Neptune
  • Christine Marie Cabanos is Hotaru Tomoe / Sailor Saturn
  • Keith Silverstein is Professor Tomoe

Silverstein also plays Usagi’s father Kenji Tsukino in VIZ Media’s English version.

VIZ Media will release the first set of Sailor Moon R on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on July 14, 2015. The company released the second half of Sailor Moon‘s first season on home video in February 2015.

VIZ Media announced in May 2014 that it had licensed all 200 episodes, the three feature films, and the assorted tie-in specials of the original Sailor Moon franchise, as well as the Sailor Moon Crystal anime series. The original series is streaming on Hulu and VIZ Media’s Neon Alley service. The company is also simulcasting Sailor Moon Crystal as it airs in Japan along with Crunchyroll and Hulu.
