VIZ Media Acquires the License for the K Anime Film and the Second K Anime Series

VIZ Media announced at its Anime Expo 2015 panel that it has acquired the rights to the K film, K: Missing Kings, and the second television anime series, K: Return of Kings.

The film premiered in Japan on July 12, 2014. Eleven Arts screened the film in theaters in North America, starting in Los Angeles on July 18, 2014.

The second K series will premiere in Japan in October 2015.

The first television anime premiered in 2012, and VIZ Media simulcast it in North America as it aired. An English dub streamed on VIZ’s Neon Alley service. VIZ also released the series on Blu-ray and DVD.
