The July 2015 issue of Square Enix’s Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine has revealed that Shiwo Komeyama will end the Bloody Cross manga series in the magazine’s August 2015 issue, which will be published in Japan on July 10, 2015.
The story focuses on Tsukimiya, a girl cursed with both angel and vampire lineage. She and another half angel, Hinata, take part in a struggle for “God’s Book of Prophecy,” an artifact whose power may dispell their mixed-blood curse. Along the way, they encounter pure-blood angels, a fallen angel, a half-angel human, and other factions.
Komeyama launched Bloody Cross in Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine in 2009. Previous to this, she had released the title in 2007 as a manga one shot under her penname Aoi Mizuki. Yen Press is publishing the manga in English.
