The Dragon Ball Super Anime Is Getting a Manga Adaptation

The July 2015 issue of Shueisha’s V Jump magazine is announcing that Toyotarō will launch a manga version of the upcoming Dragon Ball Super anime series. Dragon Ball manga creator Akira Toriyama is credited with the manga’s original story.

Toyotarō will launch the manga in the extra-large August 2015 issue of V Jump. Toyotarō previously drew the three-chapter manga adaptation of the recently released Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F (Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’) film.

Dragon Ball Super will premiere on Japanese television in July 2015, and it is the first new Dragon Ball television series since Dragon Ball GT, which aired from 1996 to 1997.
