This year’s 24th issue of Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine is announcing that Hiromu Arakawa is putting her Silver Spoon manga back on a short hiatus. The announcement adds that the WEB Sunday website and the magazine itself will announce when the manga will be published again.
Arakawa announced in August 2014 that she would slow the pace of her manga due to the health of a family member declining. She had resumed the manga in the 21st issue on April 22, 2015.
Arakawa created Fullmetal Alchemist before penning Silver Spoon. Silver Spoon won 2012’s Manga Taisho and Booklog awards, and 2013’s Shogakukan Manga Awards in the boys’ category.
