Takujo no Ageha: The Table Tennis of Ageha Manga Is Ending

This year’s combined 22nd and 23rd issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine will publish the final chapter of Itsuki Furuya’s Takujo no Ageha: The Table Tennis of Ageha manga on April 27, 2015.

The story of the manga is described as:

Meet Ageha, a promising successor to Japan’s golden age of table tennis. He’s under the tutelage of a former world champion whose granddaughter Ririka is also at the top of her game – though she’s playing a more seductive sport. Both would rather die than recognize the other’s talents, which is going to get interesting when they find out they’re engaged.

Furuya initially published Takujo no Ageha: The Table Tennis of Ageha as a one shot in the same magazine in June 2014, and then the manga launched as a full series on November 17, 2014. The series was Furuya’s first serialized manga. VIZ Media published the first three chapters of the manga simultaneously in English in its Weekly Shonen Jump digital anthology as part of the company’s “Jump Start” initiative.
