Shiro Amano posted on Twitter that his Kingdom Hearts II manga will end in the 10th volume. He added that he will be ending the manga in its serialized form in the June 2015 issue of Square Enix’s Shonen Gangan magazine, which will ship on May 12, 2015.

Amano had launched this adaptation of Square Enix and Tetsuya Nomura’s action role-playing game in Shonen Gangan in 2006. However, he left it incomplete when he moved onto Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days. Amano then resumed the manga in 2012 after finishing Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days.

Amano has created manga adaptations for Square Enix’s Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts II, and Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days games. Tokyopop released all four volumes of Kingdom Hearts, both volumes of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and two volumes of Kingdom Hearts II before the company shut down its North American publishing division in 2011. Yen Press is now publishing all four manga adaptations in English.
