The third issue of 2015 of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing that a new Yu-Gi-Oh! anime film will premiere in 2016 and will focus on Yugi Muto and Seto Kaiba. The magazine also says that the film will have an original story.

The 2000 Yu-Gi-Oh! series will be remastered to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the franchise. The remastered version will premiere on Japanese television on February 7, 2015.
