The International Animated Film Society has announced its nominees for its 42nd Annual Annie Awards.

Studio Ghibli and Isao Takahata’s The Tale of the Princess Kaguya received three nominations:

• Best Animated Feature
• Isao Takahata is up for “Outstanding Achievement for Directing in an Animated Feature Production”
• Joe Hisaishi is up for “Outstanding Achievement for Music in an Animated Feature Production”

The winners will be announced at a ceremony at UCLA’s Royce Hall on January 31, 2015.
