Japan Expo USA 2014 Announces Izumi Matsumoto as Guest

Japan Expo USA 2014 has announced that Izumi Matsumoto, the creator of Kimagure Orange Road, will be a guest at their next convention.

Matsumoto’s Kimagure Orange Road romantic comedy manga ran in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 1984 to 1987, and it inspired an anime series, multiple original video anime volumes, and two movies. The story focuses on a love triangle between the protagonist Kyōsuke and his two friends Madoka and Hikaru. Digital Manga Publishing licensed the manga earlier in 2014.

Japan Expo USA will be taking place August 22-24, 2014 in San Mateo, California.
