VIZ Media has announced that the July 14, 2014 issue of the English version of Weekly Shonen Jump will feature Rurouni Kenshin – Aku no Kioku, a backstory manga for political assassin survival-of-the-fittest revolutionary Makoto Shishio from Jump SQ 8.

This one shot manga ties into August’s Rurouni Kenshin – The Kyoto Fire and September’s The Legend’s Conclusion live-action adaptation of the samurai manga’s fan-favorite “Kyoto Arc.”
