GKIDS has acquired the rights to release Kingdom of Dreams & Madness, a Studio Ghibli documentary, in the United States and Canada.

The documentary was directed by Mami Sunada, and it follows director Hayao Miyazaki as he worked on The Wind Rises anime film, director Isao Takahata as he worked on The Tale of Princess Kaguya anime film, and Toshio Suzuki as he worked on both projects. The documentary opened in Japanese theaters in Fall 2013.
