Release Date Announced for the First Attack on Titan Anime Compilation Film

The July 2014 issue of Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine is announcing that the first Attack on Titan anime compilation film, Attack on Titan Part I: Crimson Bow and Arrow, will open in Japanese theaters on November 22, 2014. The second film, Attack on Titan Part II: Wings of Freedom, will open in 2015.

The first film will cover Episodes 1 through 13, while the second film will cover 14 through 25. Both films are produced by WIT Studio and directed by Tetsuro Araki.

The first set of advance tickets for the first film will go on sale on June 21, 2014. People who order during the first advance sales period will receive one of two mini B6-size clear files with a special illustrations by character designer Kyoji Asano.
