Anime voice actor Seizo Katou passed away on January 17, 2014 due to complications from bladder cancer. He was 86 years old at the time of his passing.

Katou began his career in the 1960’s, and his voice acting roles included: Ittetsu Hoshi in Kyojin no Hoshi, Kinnbart in Elemental Gelade, Hazanko in Outlaw Star, and Galvatron and Megatron in Transformers.
