Anime Sols reached its crowdfunding goal of US$18,000 for the second North American Black Jack DVD set on December 3, 2013. The set reached its goal with only minutes to spare.

The set got a boost over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend with Anime Sols’ Black Friday sale, where all pledges were automatically worth double towards the goal.
