Anime News Network is reporting that Manga Reborn, a website that allows users to legally read manga digitally in English and in Japanese, reached its funding goal of US$6,000 for its Kickstarter campaign before it ended on November 3, 2013. According to the report, the Kickstarter campaign ended up raising US$7,098. Since the campaign reached its first stretch goal of US$6,500, all backers will receive digital copies of Machiko Satonaka’s The Old Testament.

Manga Reborn has also posted an explanation as to how the Kickstarter donations will be used.
