Sailor Moon Is #1 on BookScan’s Top 20 Graphic Novels List for July 2013

According to Nielsen BookScan, Sailor Moon Volume 12 by Naoko Takeuchi was the number one selling graphic novel in the United States for July 2013.

The manga titles that appeared on the Top 20 selling graphic novels list for July 2013 are:

  • Sailor Moon Volume 12 by Naoko Takeuchi (#1)
  • Naruto Volume 61 by Masashi Kishimoto (#4)
  • Blue Exorcist Volume 10 by Kazue Kato (#10)
  • Attack on Titan Volume 1 by Hajime Isayama (#12)
  • Alice in the Country of Clover: Cheshire Cat Waltz Volume 5 by Quinrose (#13)
  • Bleach Volume 57 by Tite Kubo (#14)
  • Black Butler Volume 14 by Yana Toboso (#15)
  • Sailor Moon Volume 11 by Naoko Takeuchi (#17)

The BookScan rankings include sales at Barnes & Noble and other book chains, independent bookshops, and online purchases. However, sales at comic book stores, Walmart, and some other venues are not included.
