The American incarnation of Japan Expo has announced that character designer and manga creator Yoshiyuki Sadamoto will be a guest at its 2013 convention.

Sadamoto’s credits include designing the characters for Neon Genesis Evangelion, Royal Space Force – The Wings of Honneamise, Nadia, FLCL, and Gunbuster 2: Diebuster.

The American version of Japan Expo will be taking place August 23-25, 2013 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Northern California.
