On June 29, 2013, the new anime licensing company Crimson Star Media announced at Georgia’s Seishun-Con 2013 that the company has acquired the license to the six-episode Looking Up at the Half-Moon anime.

According to the company, it will stream the series on its website, and it will also release the series on DVD on September 27, 2013. The DVD will retail for US$29.99 or for US$34.99 with streaming rights included.

Crimson Star is accepting pre-orders through the company’s website. If 275 pre-orders are purchased by August 1, 2013, the company will add an English dub with cast commentary and interviews. If 1,000 copies are purchased by December 25, 2013, the company will announce a new license on New Year’s Day.
