Dark Horse’s Announcements at Anime Weekend Atlanta 2012

Dark Horse Comics announced at their Anime Weekend Atlanta 2012 panel that the company has acquired the licenses for the following manga:

Trigun: Multiple Bullets

Trigun: Multiple Bullets features a series of short stories by multiple authors. The 2011 one-volume anthology includes “Dodongo Kyōdai Honeycombed Village no Kettō” — the Trigun: Badlands Rumble film tie-in story drawn by original creator Yasuhiro Nightow — as well as stories by Boichi, Yūsuke Takeyama, Satoshi Mizukami, Kenji Mitsuyoshi and Koichi Ishikawa’s studio Ark Performance, and Masakazu Ishiguro.

Neon Genesis Evangelion: Shinji Ikari Detective Diary
Author: Takumi Yoshimura

The manga takes place in an alternate world where Kaworu Nagisa and Kaiji Ryoji are private eyes and Shinji Ikari seeks them out for help.

In addition, Dark Horse also announced that it would be releasing the Trigun and Lone Wolf and Cub manga in omnibus editions, and that Lone Wolf and Cub will be a new, larger format that is roughly 5 by 7 inches.
