Naruto Volume 57 by Masashi Kishimoto came in at number nine on Nielsen BookScan’s list of the Top 20 graphic novels in American bookstores for August 2012.

The manga titles to appear on the August 2012 list include:

  • Naruto Volume 57 by Masashi Kishimoto (#1)
  • Sailor Moon Volume 6 by Naoko Takeuchi (#17)
  • Bleach Volume 44 by Tite Kubo (#19)
  • Bleach Volume 45 by Tite Kubo (#20)

The BookScan rankings include sales at Barnes & Noble and other book chains, independent bookshops, and online purchases. However, sales at comic book stores, Walmart, and other venues are not included.
