Sailor Moon Is #2 on BookScan’s Top 20 Graphic Novels List for July 2012

Sailor Moon Volume 6 by Naoko Takeuchi was ranked at #2 on Nielsen BookScan’s list of the Top 20 graphic novels in U.S. bookstores for July 2012.

The manga releases that made it into Nielsen BookScan’s Top 20 list for July 2012 include:

  • Sailor Moon Volume 6 by Naoko Takeuchi (#2)
  • Naruto Volume 57 by Masashi Kishimoto (#3)
  • Rosario+Vampire: Season II Volume 9 by Akihisa Ikeda (#12)
  • Vampire Knight Volume 14 by Matsuri Hino (#13)
  • Black Butler Volume 10 by Yana Toboso (#20)

BookScan’s rankings includes sales at Barnes & Noble and other book chains, independent bookshops and online purchases. However, sales at comic book stores, Walmart and some other venues are not included.
