Amazon is listing the first volume of Tsutomu Nihei’s Knights of Sidonia manga, and the listing says the volume is being released by Vertical, Inc. on February 5, 2013. According to Anime News Network, Vertical has confirmed that it has licensed this series.

According to Amazon’s listing, this manga volume will retail for US$12.95.
