Seven Seas Entertainment has announced that it has acquired the license for Alice in the Country of Joker: Circus and Liar’s Game and Crimson Empire: Circumstances to Serve a Noble.

Alice in the Country of Joker: Circus and Liar’s Game began its serialization in Ichijinsha’s Monthly Comic Zero-Sum manga magazine in April 2011. The title tells the story of the protagonist, Alice, who finds herself in a fantastic circus-prison world that changes drastically depending on the season.

Crimson Empire: Circumstances to Serve a Noble began its serialization in Ichijinsha’s Zero-Sum Ward magazine in 2008, and it tells the story of Sheila Rozann, a maid who serves the second prince of a royal family who also acts as his bodyguard, having been trained as an assassin when formerly enslaved.

The first volume of Alice in the Country of Joker: Circus and Liar’s Game is currently listed as having a release date of February 1, 2013.
