Manga creator Izumi Matsumoto announced at his Katsucon 2012 panel that the company Hivelinx is planning to release his Kimagure Orange Road manga in English in NTT Solmare’s Facebook app “ComicFriends” in April 2012. “ComicFriends” is currently only available in the United States and Japan.

Matsumoto and Hivelinx are also planning to release the title through Amazon’s Kindle electronic book platform and Apple’s iBooks platform. The delivery dates will be announced on the ComicFriends page.

Kimagure Orange Road ran in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 1984 to 1987, and it followed a boy with supernatural powers as he dealt with a love triangle between two girls in his high school.
