Sailor Moon Is #1 on BookScan’s Top 20 Graphic Novels List for October 2011

According to Nielsen BookScan’s Top 20 graphic novels list, Sailor Moon Volume 1 by Naoko Takeuchi stays as the number one graphic novel in America for the second month in a row.

The manga in the October 2011 list include:

  • Sailor Moon Volume 1 by Naoko Takeuchi (#1)
  • Naruto Volume 52 by Masashi Kishimoto (#3)
  • Vampire Knight Volume 13 by Matsuri Hino (#5)
  • Codename: Sailor V Volume 1 by Naoko Takeuchi (#6)
  • Rosario+Vampire: Season II Volume 6 by Akihisa Ikeda (#7)
  • Black Butler Volume 7 by Yana Toboso (#10)
  • Blue Exorcist Volume 4 by Kazue Katō (#11)
  • Yotsuba&! Volume 10 by Kiyohiko Azuma (#15)
  • Fullmetal Alchemist Volume 26 by Hiromu Arakawa (#19)
  • Bakuman. Volume 7 by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata (#20)

The BookScan ratings include sales from Barnes & Noble and other book chains, independent bookshops, and online purchases. However, sales at comic book stores, Walmart, and some other venues are not included.
