My husband is a member of Borders’ free rewards club, and he gets the emails that they send out. In the email he got today, it played up that from now until July 25, 2011, there is a manga deal going on both in-store and at Borders’ website. If you buy three manga, you can get a fourth manga for free. However, I don’t know how this deal may be affected if the liquidation sales start happening on Friday.
My family and I are planning to go to a local Borders tomorrow night and we’ll be trying to take advantage of this sale.

When my family went to Borders on the evening of Wednesday, July 20, this manga deal was going on. However, when I went to another Borders today (Sunday, July 24) for the liquidation sale, I discovered that this manga promotion had been discontinued. I would assume that the promotion ended once the liquidation sales started on Friday, July 22.
